Multi-channel inventory management, accurate cost of goods sold, and AI-powered demand forecasting for brands that run on data.
The Problem
Which products to reorder. What to promote. Where to set your price. As operators, we make these calls every week. But when costs are stale, counts are off, or margins are based on last quarter's averages, we're just guessing. And when landed costs can shift overnight, guessing is expensive. Maven gives you real costs, real counts, and real profitability. Updated every time inventory moves, not when someone remembers to update a spreadsheet.
Capabilities
Connect Shopify, Amazon, and more. Inventory levels stay accurate across every channel, automatically.
Accurate cost of goods sold for every unit, every order. FIFO and average costing so you always know your true margins.
Track stock across warehouses, FBA, 3PLs, and retail locations from a single dashboard.
Moving and seasonal averages plus AI-powered models generate reorder and transfer recommendations so you never miss a beat.
Project your cash needs from reorder schedules so you never overcommit capital on inventory.
Ask questions and trigger actions in plain language. Get answers about your inventory without digging through reports.
Amazon Integration
Maven Inventory connects directly to your Amazon selling account through the Amazon Selling Partner API. Authorize once and Maven keeps your Amazon data in sync with every other channel you sell on. You can revoke access at any time from your Amazon account.
Maven identifies which Amazon marketplaces your account sells in and configures your workspace accordingly, so regional stock and currency are handled correctly from the first sync.
Maven reads your Fulfillment by Amazon inventory — fulfillable, reserved, inbound, and unfulfillable quantities — and displays it alongside your own warehouses, 3PLs, and retail locations in one view. Inbound FBA shipments are tracked from creation through receipt, so in-transit units are never double-counted.
If you use AWD, Maven reads your AWD inventory and includes those units in availability calculations and replenishment planning.
Maven looks up Amazon catalog records to match your Amazon listings to the correct product in Maven by ASIN, SKU, UPC, or other identifier, so cost history and demand history stay attached to the right item.
Maven reads your Amazon listings data and writes updated available quantities back to your Amazon listings, so the availability Amazon shows reflects true multi-location stock. This is your primary control against overselling.
Maven reads Amazon settlement reports and financial event data to reconcile payouts, fees, and refunds against your own records, feeding accurate margin reporting and cash flow projections.
Maven reads Amazon restock recommendations and FBA customer returns data to inform reorder timing, reorder quantities, and true sell-through.
Maven never pools, aggregates across sellers, resells, or trains models on your Amazon data. Every seller's data is isolated to its own workspace, encrypted at rest and in transit. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Analytics & Forecasting
Maven turns your sales, cost, and inventory history into decisions: what to reorder, when, how much, and what it will do to your cash position. Analytics run across every channel you sell on, including Amazon.
Maven forecasts demand per SKU per location using moving averages, seasonal averages, and AI-assisted models. Forecasts can be reviewed and overridden per product, so buyers stay in control of the numbers they are ordering against.
Maven combines forecast demand with supplier lead times, on-hand stock, and inbound shipments to recommend what to reorder and when, including transfers between your own locations and into FBA.
Track units, revenue, and sell-through by product, category, location, and channel over any period. Compare performance across Amazon and your other channels in one view rather than reconciling separate reports.
Because Maven tracks FIFO cost layers, margin reporting reflects what inventory actually cost rather than an average. Report cost of goods sold by category, inventory value by category, and cost exposure by vendor for any accounting period.
Project cash requirements from reorder schedules, open purchase order commitments, recurring costs, and expected receipts, so inventory decisions are made against real working capital.
Build and save custom reports across any of your inventory, order, and cost data. An AI assistant surfaces anomalies and answers operational questions in plain language, with every answer scoped to your own workspace data.
For brand-registered sellers, Maven incorporates Amazon Brand Analytics data — including search query performance and repeat purchase behavior — to strengthen demand forecasts and identify which products warrant deeper inventory investment. This data is used only to generate analytics for the seller it belongs to.
Pricing Management
Maven manages selling prices across every channel from one place, with your true cost of goods in view while you set them.
Update selling prices in bulk across Amazon and your other connected sales channels from a single screen. Filter to a category, vendor, or set of SKUs, apply a fixed price, a percentage change, or a target margin, review the full change set before it is applied, then push the update to each channel.
Every price is shown against its true FIFO cost and, for Amazon listings, against estimated Amazon referral and fulfilment fees. You see resulting margin per unit before committing a price change, not after the next settlement.
Maven retrieves current Amazon pricing for your listings so you can see where your price sits before changing it. Pricing data is used solely to inform your own pricing decisions for your own listings.
Every price change is recorded with who made it, when, the previous value, and the margin at the time, so pricing decisions can be audited against their effect on sell-through and profitability.
